As an integrative psychotherapist, Afsheen offers a compassionate and non-judgmental space for individuals to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. With a holistic approach, she draws upon various therapeutic modalities to tailor treatment to each client's unique needs and goals. Afsheen grew up in Pakistan, and being born to parents from two diverse backgrounds—namely, Iran and Kashmir—she learned the acceptance of cultural diversity, which helped her gain insight into her clients’ world of cultural sensitivities. She works with international clients, especially South Asian expats, who bring both struggles and determination to survive in a foreign land.

Her forte is working with adolescents and young adults, having initially worked in the education sector as part of her career. She currently loves working with transference and countertransference in the form of enactments, healing childhood traumas. Being IFS-informed has helped her gain deeper insight into part work and assist clients in accessing their self-energy.
