Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a common neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by inattention, hyperactivity, impulsivity, etc. Individuals living with ADHD may become restless and have difficulty concentrating.
ADHD is the most common mental health disorder diagnosed in children and may persist into their teenage years and adulthood. It can disrupt everyday life, causing issues such as relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, and poor performance at work or school due to concentration difficulties.
While there is no way to cure or prevent ADHD, with early detection and proper management strategies, its symptoms can be controlled. Doing so can help people with ADHD develop effective coping skills and improve their overall well-being, to lead more fulfilling lives.
