About Marita Tarabay
Hi, I’m Marita a Clinical Psychologist licensed by the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health and a proud member of both the Lebanese Order of Psychologists (LOPSY) and the Lebanese Psychologists Association (LPA). I’m passionate about helping people navigate life’s challenges and build emotional resilience through therapy that feels safe, compassionate, and empowering.
I currently work as a consultant clinical psychologist with Shezlong and Fitcy Health, where I provide counseling and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to adults and adolescents from diverse Arab backgrounds. My goal is to help clients gain clarity, develop healthier coping strategies, and move toward emotional balance and personal growth.
My training includes group therapy dynamics and trauma-focused Narrative Exposure Therapy, and I’m currently specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy at ALTCC (Association Libanaise des Thérapies Comportementales et Cognitives). These experiences allow me to integrate evidence-based methods with empathy and understanding, creating a space where you can feel supported and heard.
