This is Nathasha, who, beyond being a Psychotherapist, Mental Health Counselor, and published author, is someone who deeply values the power of human connection. She considers that her passion for helping others began during her early years with personal experiences and along with volunteer work, where she witnessed the resilience of special needs populations firsthand. These experiences ignited a lifelong commitment to supporting people in their journeys toward healing and growth.
Her academic path took her from studying Psychology at the undergraduate level to a master’s in Clinical Psychology and Mental Health Counseling. Her therapeutic approaches span across Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Attachment-based therapy, Mindfulness, Internal Family Systems, Trauma therapy, and other integrative approaches. Her areas of focus include navigating daily life challenges, stress, anxiety, panic attacks, trauma, attachment issues, PTSD, grief, emotional regulation, interpersonal relationships, assertiveness, personal development, self-esteem, psychoeducation, and mindfulness. And she is always eager to learn more, continually seeking out new approaches to enhance the care she provides.
In addition to her clinical work, Nathasha is a published researcher exploring empathy, culture, emotional regulation, and aggression. In 2023, she co-authored a book that explored parenting, childhood, and trauma across different cultural contexts. This experience deepened her appreciation for how our early experiences shape us and reinforced her commitment to supporting others in their healing journeys. She also brings her insights into the business world, offering workshops on empathy, communication, and enhancing customer experience. Creating a safe, warm, and culturally informed space is at the heart of Nathasha's practice. Since she has grown up with a multicultural background, she is committed to making sure everyone she works with feels seen, heard, and understood. Growth flourishes in an environment where safety and curiosity are prioritized, allowing us to explore and understand our stories in a meaningful way. Nathasha claims that she is here not just as a therapist but as a fellow traveler on the journey, ready to explore the unique landscapes of your life with empathy, care, and curiosity.
